Sales & Partnership Lead

Company Overview

Emmi believes that a low carbon economy is possible, and that properly incentivising and mobilising capital is the fastest and most cost-effective way to reach Net Zero and beyond.

Emmi works with institutional investors to provide emissions data and climate risk analysis across all major public and private asset classes, enabling investors to quantify and manage the carbon liability in their portfolios.

Using proprietary machine learning models, and deep expertise in carbon analytics, Emmi empowers institutional investors to take control of climate risk, reporting obligations and alignment with net-zero outcomes.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a high-performing Sales & Partnership Lead to join our expanding team to drive revenue growth and strengthen our relationship with existing clients, prospects and distribution partners.

This is an externally facing role ideal for someone with strong enterprise sales acumen, a solid understanding of the institutional investment ecosystem, and the ability to cultivate and manage strategic relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Emmi’s sales engagements: Lead Emmi's sales efforts with institutional clients, including asset owners, managers, and consultants, supporting our distribution partners’ client-facing teams in positioning and selling Emmi’s solutions.
  • Strategic partner management: Serve as the primary sales liaison for our distribution partners globally, developing joint sales strategies, coordinating enablement sessions, and driving pipeline development through the partnership.
  • Client engagement: Manage end-to-end sales processes – from lead generation and qualification through to proposal submission, negotiation, onboarding, and account growth.
  • Industry representation: Represent Emmi at key industry events, conferences, and panels to build brand awareness, engage with prospects, and stay informed on market trends.
  • Enablement & support: Deliver compelling product demonstrations and support pre-sales activities, ensuring that both internal and partner teams are equipped to present Emmi’s value proposition with confidence.
  • Sales process & reporting: Maintain accurate pipeline data in Emmi’s CRM, prepare executive-level reporting, and support commercial planning activities.
  • Content management: Coordinate timely and high-quality responses to RFPs, DDQs, and bespoke proposals with input from internal subject matter experts.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B or enterprise sales, preferably in financial services, SaaS, or data products.
  • Knowledge of the institutional investment landscape – ideally working with super funds, asset managers, investment consultants, or data providers.
  • Strong strategic account management skills
  • Commercial acumen and comfort engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
  • Desired but not essential - familiarity with climate or ESG data, and an understanding of regulatory trends such as TCFD, SFDR, or ISSB is a plus.

The right candidate will be:

  • A natural amplifier, who works well in a team, and strives to create impact across the business
  • An excellent problem-solver with a highly flexible approach and a willingness to lean in wherever needed
  • Self-motivated and proactive, and will demonstrate exceptional drive
  • A strong communicator, with the ability to work collaboratively in an innovative team setting or remotely
  • Passionate about climate change
  • Excited about being part of the solution, and ready for the challenge
  • Ready to have fun while saving the planet!
